We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build, operate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. This role is responsible for leading cloud architecture, automation, DevOps best practices, and operational excellence across our engineering teams.

This is you

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.

• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud resources.

• Architect networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT, security groups, VPNs, and DNS using Route53.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, etc.) to support automated builds, testing, and deployments.

• Operate and optimize containerized workloads using EKS, ECS, Fargate, and Docker.

• Implement serverless architectures with AWS Lambda and integrate them into existing systems.

• Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or Datadog.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment pipelines, and application performance.

• Apply AWS security best practices including IAM least privilege, encryption (KMS), network segmentation, secret management, and compliance controls.

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability patterns for mission-critical workloads.

• Drive cost optimization across AWS environments by analyzing usage, enforcing tagging policies, and recommending architectural improvements.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams to design cloud-native solutions and improve platform reliability.

• Advocate for DevOps principles, automation, and best practices within the engineering organization.

• Document architectures, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

• Mentor team members and contribute to long-term technical strategy and roadmap planning.

Required skills:

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with production AWS environments.

• Strong proficiency in AWS services: VPC, EC2, IAM, ALB/NLB, RDS/Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS, Lambda, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFront, KMS.

• Expertise with Terraform and solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code principles.

• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.

• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

• Experience implementing secure and automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals and cloud security practices.

• Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or Datadog).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead incident response.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, SysOps).

• Experience working with multi-account AWS Organization setups.

• Knowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).

• Experience with cloud cost governance (FinOps principles).

• Background in modernizing legacy systems or cloud migrations.
