Avenga is looking for a Middle Front-end Engineer for our American project. Our customer is an online enterprise-grade food ordering platform used by many of the US’s largest restaurant chains and millions of users. You will contribute to implementing large, strategic, and complex components and services, including solution design and reliability concerns.

This role requires a shifted schedule, with working hours extending until 20:00–21:00 Eastern European Time (EET).

This is you

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Front-End Engineer

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS/SCSS

• Solid hands-on experience with React

• Experience with front-end state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API or similar)

• Experience building and maintaining client-facing APIs & SDKs

• Good understanding of front-end architecture and common design patterns

• Practical experience with NPM, Node.js, Vite, GIT, and basic CI/CD principles

• Experience writing tests: unit, component, integration, and e2e

• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly express technical ideas

• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team

• Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback

• Good command of English, at least at an upper-intermediate level

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with component libraries or design systems

• Experience working together with UX teams

• Understanding of scalable front-end solutions

• Experience contributing to shared internal tools or libraries

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software aligned with client needs

• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and clear scope understanding

• Participate in code reviews to maintain best practices and code quality

• Ask clarifying questions to deeply understand client requirements

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by clients or internal teams

• Work closely with cross-functional teammates to deliver stable, scalable solutions
