We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Databricks and Python (PySpark) to support clinical data surveillance and feasibility analytics initiatives.
In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, help enforce GxP-compliant data processes, support role-based access control for sensitive datasets, and participate in integrating Databricks with enterprise platforms such as Azure and SNAP.
This is you
Hands-on experience with Databricks and Python (PySpark)
Understanding of clinical or regulated data environments (GxP as a plus)
Basic to intermediate experience with data security concepts (RBAC, access control, permissions)
Experience working with ETL / ELT pipelines and data engineering best practices
Familiarity with Python visualization libraries (Plotly, matplotlib, seaborn)
Experience working with data from multiple sources
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
This is your role
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark
Support clinical data surveillance workflows under guidance of senior engineers
Assist in implementing GxP-compliant data handling and documentation
Help manage role-based access control for sensitive datasets
Contribute to Databricks integration with Azure and SNAP platforms
Match, merge, and standardize data from internal and external sources
Create and maintain standardized queries (e.g. ICD-10 codes)
Build unified datasets optimized for reporting, charting, and analytics
