In Cordoba or Buenos Aires, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS services, results-oriented, and capable of making an impact from day one. The main focus will be on migrating existing integrations to modern services using AWS and microservices.
This is the team
The team is centered on migrating the company’s Core to the AWS cloud, aiming to modernize the technological infrastructure, improve scalability, and optimize service response times. The developer will play a key role in this process, contributing to both architecture and the implementation of modern backend services.
This is you
5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and distributed services.
3+ years of experience with AWS, including practical experience with: AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, EKS and microservices architecture.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and serverless tools, including: AWS CloudFormation, AWS SAM, Serverless Framework.
5+ years of experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience working in Agile environments, using SCRUM and/or KANBAN.
Daily experience with development and collaboration tools: Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Postman, Terminal / CLI.
This is your role
Develop simple and effective solutions, focusing on delivering value in an agile and sustainable way.
Replace legacy integrations (OSB and COBOL) with modern services in Node.js, using AWS tools and services.
Actively contribute to migrating the Core to AWS cloud, ensuring an efficient and well-documented transition.
Ensure development best practices aligned with team standards.
Collaborate actively in the design and implementation of APIs and distributed services.
Provide technical support to other developers, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Demonstrate proactivity in identifying improvements and opportunities within projects.
Participate in code reviews and promote quality and documentation practices.
Communicate clearly and effectively, facilitating understanding of solutions and proposals within the team.
